The ninth international BRA DAY & BREAST DAY 2024 was held with the presence of many doctors and experts, as well as numerous successfully cured women and other citizens who came to support this important public health campaign.
A very successful campaign launched by associate professor Domagoj Eljuga, is held on the eve of October, the month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Celebrating Breast Day and BRA Day through public performances and lectures aims to raise the level of education of the entire population about breast cancer as a public health problem. It is our wish that our messages reach the greatest number of not only women but also men, all in order to ensure quality information for our citizens. And the best evidence that the campaigns must continue to be implemented is the decrease in mortality from breast cancer and the continuous increase in the number of women who decide to have breast reconstruction every year. Their satisfaction with their own body appearance after the reconstruction procedure is the best motivation for all other women to be encouraged and decide on reconstruction surgery.
